Hey there,

I'm Eric Gillette.

I've been elbow-deep in professional editing for 13 years now. From whipping up snappy social media clips to crafting commercials that catch national attention, I've had my hands on everything.

Since I can remember, I've had this itch to create and experiment. There's something special about taking an idea and turning it into something real. That's what drew me to video editing early on.

It all started when I stumbled upon a skateboarding video made by my buddy's brother and my older brother, who taught me how to splice footage with a camera and VHS recorder. I was hooked from that moment, constantly behind the lens, turning everyday moments into cinematic gold for my friends.

I spent a decade refining my skills in Chicago, including studying at Columbia College and interning at Fox, NBC, and Cutters. I then worked at Playboy and rEvolution Sports Marketing in Chicago before the creative scene in Detroit beckoned. Since returning in 2015, I've worked in commercial editing at Ron Rose Milagro and Doner, and now thrive at Wolfgang, a dynamic Creative Agency and Content Studio.

I'm continually exploring new ways to enhance my editing, delve into motion graphics, and connect with fellow creatives. Let's chat anytime!
